FAQs

What are your shipping methods?

We try our best to ship all orders within 5-10 business days of the purchase date. Shipping times vary depending on your location and the services within your area. Generally, items will arrive within 1-2 weeks after shipping. We primarily use USPS - all packages are insured, so please let us know within 48 hours of receiving your order if your items arrive damaged.

What is your return policy?

We typically do not accept returns unless the wrong item is received. Due to the items being made by hand, each piece is slightly different in shape, size and color and may show the marks of the makers hands or have minor imperfections. These irregularities are left with intention.

My order arrived damaged! What do I do?

If your item arrives damaged please contact us with a photo of the item within 3 days of  arrival and we will exchange it with a similar item of equal value.

What's your packaging material?

We strive to have our packaging be completely recyclable and/or compostable. Your order will come in a cardboard box. Inside will be shredded cardboard, tissue paper, and/or honeycomb paper.

Single use plastic sucks, reusing and recycling rules!

I purchased multiple items. Can you combine shipping for all of them?

We will ship items together whenever we can, however, some items, especially larger pieces, cannot be shipped together at the risk of damage. We will refund any shipping overages once your items have been shipped, but please keep in mind when purchasing that your items may have to be shipped separately.

What does it mean when I buy handmade from you?

It means you are supporting me, thanks! Because every item of mine is handmade, there may be slight imperfections, differences, or variations between pieces. All of my measurements are approximate, but I do my very best to be accurate.

Are your pieces microwave and/or dishwasher safe?

In most instances, yes. However I recommend they be hand-washed, and kept out of the microwave to maximize their longevity. All items listed in the “Home Essentials, Micros, and Other Bits” categories should not be used for food.

What are seconds pieces?

Seconds are ceramics that have minor, cosmetic defects. To discourage waste in the studio we instead sell the carefully inspected seconds for a discounted price. Seconds only have defects that are cosmetic that do not interfere with the overall safety or integrity of the piece.

Are your colors accurate on your website?

We strive to get the true glaze color to show up as accurately as possible on the website. Colors may show up slightly different depending on the device used to view the products.
